Biography
 

     Merryn Gluys (pronounced "Marin Glewis"), an Indianapolis native, obtained her law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007. She returned to school thirteen years after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in English from Butler University.

 

 

      Merryn was a child protection investigator and case manager in Hancock County, Indiana before attending law school. She also has worked as an eligibility caseworker for the Marion County Division of Family and Children.

 

 

     After graduating from law school, Merryn practiced family law part - time at the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic until 2014. Merryn has operated a solo practice for seventeen years. She currently practices in the Broad Ripple area and is associated with Gluys and Miller. She is a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Kids’ Voice of Indiana and the Hamilton County CASA program and also accepts private Guardian ad Litem and parenting coordinator appointments.

 

 

     Merryn’s solo practice includes a part - time child in need of services (CHINS) and termination of parental rights (TPR) public defender contract. Merryn has now practiced in this area for seventeen years.
